Bethany Rusen, Camp Director / Instructor, Black Hound Clay Studio

Bethany graduated with a BFA from Tyler School of Art in 2003 and earned her MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2010.  In her non-existent spare time, she likes to go through other people‚Äôs trash, take her greyhounds to the dog park and scour the internet for Richard Nixon memorabilia. She lives in a townhouse in West Philadelphia full of strange things. Her hair is usually pink.

Ann Schwartz, Camp Director / Instructor, The Green Tambourine Music Studio

Ann Schwartz founded The Green Tambourine in 2012. Her musical knowledge stems from extensive training in a wide range of instruments and styles. With a performance degree in viola from Temple University and additional instrumental experience with flute, violin, voice, saxophone, piano and mandolin, Ann loves to learn new instruments and share them with aspiring musicians.  A proud West Philly resident, you can find Ann playing music on her porch with her husband, Matthew, and son, Perrin, or out and about with their two dogs.
